About this tour
A journey into the legend of Cleopatra and Mark Antony: a ~30-minute drive to the Gulf of Gökova, then a traditional wooden boat to Sedir Island. Legend says Antony shipped this beach's sand from the Red Sea on 60 vessels; today every grain — a perfect sphere under 1 mm — is under state protection. Swimming stops in turquoise coves on the way, a hot barbecue lunch on board, then about 3 hours of free time on the island with its ancient amphitheatre, temple and city walls. The island entrance fee (~€8) is not included.
