About this tour

Step into the ancient Greek and Roman worlds at Ephesus — the best-preserved ancient city on earth, a cradle of civilisation since the 14th century BC. Walk marble streets past Roman baths, gymnasiums and agoras to the famous Library of Celsus and the Great Theatre that seated some 25,000 spectators. The trip also visits the remains of the Temple of Artemis, one of the wonders of the ancient world, and the House of the Virgin Mary, where she is said to have spent her last days. A fully air-conditioned coach, open-buffet breakfast and lunch, guiding and insurance are included; entrance fees are extra. Runs on Sundays and Thursdays.
